Plein Air Sun Coast is located on the west coast in the Sarasota area serving Charlotte, DeSoto, Hardee, Manatee, and Sarasota counties. There are no dues and anyone willing to participate and help with events is welcome. We normally meet once a week to paint for the day in the Sarasota area. Contact: Val Sandell, 941.966.3326
Next Event: Jul 1, Thu - Painting at Turtle Beach on Siesta Key FL from 8:30am. There'll be lots of parking early in the day. Late arrivers can park back by the pavilion if the beach lot has filled (unlikely) and walk to the beach. Restrooms are in the building near the Pavilion. Turtle Beach Pub and Turtles Restaurant are right across the street for lunch if you like. Please remember bug repellant and sunscreen.
Directions: From I-75 take the Clark Rd exit west Clark Rd to Stickney Point Rd, onto Siesta Key. Turn left at Midnight Pass Rd and go two and a half miles. Turtle Beach is on the right. Go down the drive to the parking lot by the beach.
