Plein air painting for me is about being immersed in the experience of the landscape. All of the senses are tuned to the task at hand and contribute to the result. I strive to convey not only how a place looks, but also how it feels at the time. Most paintings are done in one session, but larger pieces may take several visits. I regularly exhibit my award winning work and it is collected throughout the USA. I am a co-founder of Plein Air Florida.
